Leveraging advanced, full-spectrum cyber capabilities, we deliver critical information when and where it is needed to keep our Australian government and Australian Defence Force customers better informed, connected and secure.   Presently, we are looking for an experienced Aerospace Systems Business Development Manager to join our business. The principal objective of this position is to facilitate an in-country presence and maximise business opportunities within the market.   What you’ll be responsible for within this role: Providing comprehensive and timely customer acquisition and competitor analysis; Developing a Strategic Plan for the business in Australia utilising the available portfolio overlayed with an evaluation of the procurement and regulatory environment and recommend it to the senior leadership for review and approval; Provide advice and functional support to include expertise in Australia’s procurement systems and processes, budgeting and requirements process and participation in capture team planning; Supporting the growth of the business in the Australian market in a profitable and sustainable manner through capitalising on the strength of our clients brand and global capabilities; Supporting the strategy and implementation for strategic partnerships, including academic, industrial, government and offset, and any mergers, acquisitions and organic growth initiatives; Providing leadership in carrying out and demonstrating the Mission, Vision, Principles, and Values. Managing existing relationships and actively seeking out new relationships with key decision makers at appropriate levels of government in order to advance the business interests of the organisation in Australia.     Qualifications   What we’re looking for in the ideal candidate: Active NV1 Security Clearance; Demonstrated  successful track record of leading profitable growth and outstanding results for Defence and Aerospace, related industries or governmental organizations within Australian or US industry; Proven experience developing and delivered winning strategies in competitive markets and implementing acquisition strategies for the Commonwealth of Australia or other countries; Demonstrable ability to persuade, influence and overcome resistance.  Ability to identify, confront and overcome barriers to successful completion of a task or project.  High-level communication skills with ability to clearly articulate visions, issues and outcomes.  Driving high performance through personal leadership and commitment; Demonstrable understanding of Australian Defence and Government Agency acquisition processes and associated export regulations and Australia Industry Capability requirements; Ability to operate successfully in an international company with matrix-management structures while maintaining necessary entrepreneurial skills to continue to grow local presence and capability.
