Role Description

  They provide the RAAF with through-life support for its fleet of KC-30A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft located at RAAF base Amberley.   A Capability Development Manager opportunity now presents itself responsible for the governance and overall delivery of projects assigned to the Capability Development (CAPDEV) team.   The Capability Development Manager leads the enterprise prioritisation and resourcing determination of CAPDEV projects leading a team of highly skilled and dedicated members. You will lead and manage project, resource and task allocations appropriately and liaise with multiple stakeholders across the enterprise.   The successful candidate will be a strong influencer and an outstanding stakeholder manager leading a culture of accountability and excellence.     Key duties and responsibilities: Ensure ownership of projects are assigned and owners remain accountable and responsible for project delivery Oversight of all projects ensuring that each project from inception to completion and through to close out, have all progress, deliverables and budgets tracked and recorded (if required), to ensure that the Projects meet all expected outcomes Provide clear and concise communications across the organisation as required to ensure all management, functional and other team members are aligned with the capability requirements, and are planning to meet the needs Ensuring at all times that projects will deliver results that aligned with the Customer expectations and are executable by the business. Delivering outcome focused leadership plans with clear strategic direction   Qualifications   Substantial experience in a Project Management role (aerospace/defence industry desired) Project Management qualifications Demonstrated experience delivering and managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong quantitative and analytical skills Proven experience in the supervision of resources, projects and the setting of priorities Be a strong team player with the ability to work as part of a larger group or independently     Note: As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens.
