Extrastaff are seeking Expressions of Interest from enthusiastic and highly motivated Occupational Therapists to support the daily operation of our clients Allied Health team. About the Role The successful candidate will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing Occupational Therapy services to patients. This position will see you involved in the implementation and promotion of holistic wellness and care. Your key responsibilities will include: Provide high quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for clients within the context of Primary Health Care in a professional, confidential and culturally safe manner, in keeping with accepted best practice standards. Incorporate a holistic approach to health care that incorporates health promotion activities according to community and organisational priorities Ensure integrated service delivery and follow up, coordinating and communicating as required with other relevant internal, visiting, and external providers Provide follow-up monitoring and care as directed through health assessments Other general responsibilities as required About You The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a friendly and professional nature, is creative and able to form relationships with a wide variety of people. You will be able to prioritise and manage workloads according to patient needs, work independently and as part of a team. To be successful in this role you will need: Work Experience: Minimum of 12+ months previous experience in relevant field Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy (minimum) Current AHPRA registration as a Occupational Therapist Skill Sets: Strong clinical skills The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplined team Excellent time management and communication skills The successful applicant to this position will be required to provide a National Criminal Record Check and hold a current drivers licence with reliable transport.
