Required Skills

Role Description

Extrastaff are currently seeking an experienced store person with an LF/LO high-risk license, for an on-going position with one of our large logistics clients, based in Stafford QLD.
Our client is a large 3PL company, which serves as a regional distribution centre for a wide variety of products, ranging from books and stationary, to automotive parts, electronics and appliances and even aerospace supplies. Specialising in warehouse management and local transportation services.
Reporting to the logistics supervisor, the ideal candidate will have a current HRW LF & LO license, have experience working in a fast-paced distribution centre and effectively execute your tasks in a timely matter and to a high standard.
This role offers 38+ hours a week, Monday to Friday, starting at around 7am daily, with the potential for permanency after a probation period.
 
Core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Receiving/ Despatching
  • Order-picking
  • Putting away stock
  • Kitting
  • Inventory
  • Order releasing
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in picking and order fulfilment
  • Ensure safe working practices and responsible care of material handling equipment (MHE)
  • Perform pre-operation check of MHE
  • Perform daily housekeeping
