An opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Fitter to join a major food manufacturer and become part of this dynamic group. You will have an active involvement in all aspects of the daily procedures to ensure the plant runs smoothly.

The main function of this role is to perform daily preventative maintenance to avoid production down time.
In this “hands on role” you primary responsibility is to ensure continuous operation of the company’s busy production lines while you display your FMCG for high volume knowledge and trade skills.

What are we looking for?
•Must have food and packaging experience
•Must be production focused
•Prepared to do monthly shift rotations; Day, Afternoon and Night
•Welding ARC and TIG
•Basic machining
•Strong commitment to safe work practices
•Relevant trade qualifications
•Availability to work regular overtime including most Saturdays

Possession of an “S” class electrical licence will be highly regarded.

Your ability to work with minimal supervision, display a positive & self motivated attitude and be able to demonstrate sound problem solving skills will have you well suited to this rewarding and exciting position.
