Role Description

Established in 1962 our client is a leading manufacturer of engineering materials based in Western Sydney.
With an unrivaled reputation for engineering excellence they have grown into a major supplier to many Australian markets including:

Materials handling
They are currently searching for an Internal Sales person / Purchasing Officer.
Reporting to the General Manager your responsibilities will include
Sales (Participate in Customer Sales & Service and order fulfillment)
·Entering sales orders in to the computer system and creating work orders
·Ensuring the accuracy of pricing
·Provide quotes for price, availability and provide technical advice to customers
·Report all customer complaints
·Assist other sales staff with enquiries
·Process all export orders
·Follow up all customer enquiries

Purchasing (Facilitate the procurement of goods & services from domestic & overseas Suppliers)
·Check data and prices and that orders are signed and sent to suppliers
·Follow up on outstanding Purchas orders
·Liaise with suppliers
·Raise Goods Received Notes' on Purchase Orders when goods have been received
To be considered for this role you should
·Have experience in Internal Sales / Purchasing
·Have experience in a manufacturing environment
·Have good attention to detail
·Have excellent communication skills
