Role Description

An exciting opportunity exists to join a leading international Motorcycle and Power sports company as their National Parts and Logistics Manager based in Western Sydney.
Reporting to the Managing Director the purpose of this role will be to maximise stock availability, minimise inventory, and ensure an efficient and cost effective supply chain.
Your main tasks will include
• Parts & Accessories order management
• Stock control via system parameter management
• Manage Parts Help Desk function
• Manage Parts Warehouse functions
• Manage 3PL to support warehousing & distribution of products
Additional tasks will include
• Monthly reporting to international HQ and Managing Director
• Produce Budgets
• Disposal of obsolete stock
• System pricing
• Records maintenance for Audit purposes
• Development & maintenance of standard operating procedures
• Staff development (9 staff)
The skills, knowledge, and experience required for this position include
• Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering
• Inventory Management experience at least 3 years (preferably automotive/motorcycle)
• Sound knowledge of stock management/parts ordering system calculations
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good administrative skills
• Customer service focus
