Cleaners and Laundry Attendants | Aged Care & Hospitals

EXTRASTAFF is a leading national provider within the Industrial & Health Hospitality sectors. We work with iconic and respected companies throughout Australia. We are currently seeking experienced cleaners and laundry staff for a number of casual positions in Aged Care facilities within South Australia. If you are looking for an immediate start, flexibility in shifts and the opportunity to work across multiple sites, this role may be for you!

ABOUT THE ROLES:

As a Cleaner your duties will be:
• Meeting safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Setting up cleaning trolleys
• Cleaning resident/patients' rooms and bathrooms
• Cleaning communal areas
• Restocking all cleaning and hygiene supplies
• Completing cleaning records
• High Touch Point cleaning

As a Laundry Attendant your duties will be:
• Meeting safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Managing, storing, and rotating linen in the residents rooms and laundry room
• Handling soiled linen in accordance with infection control requirements
• Ensuring residents items are clearly labelled and documented
• Monitoring and maintaining equipment
• Safely storing laundry equipment

REQUIREMENTS FOR ROLE:
• Minimum 6 months previous experience working in Health Care environments (Aged Care, Retirement Living)
• Great communication skills to meet the needs of residents
• Current National Police Certificate for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old
• Current flu vaccination 2023
• COVID vaccinations x 3
• Flexible availability across a seven-day roster on days, afternoons and nights
• Working with Childrens Check
• NDIS clearance is highly advantageous
