• Setting up food and drink trolleys
• Serving/delivering meals and drinks
• Preparing texture modified food and fluids
• Preparing sandwiches and salads
• Recording accurate temperatures of food
• Washing dishes
• Maintaining cleanliness in service areas

As a Cleaner your duties will be:
• Meeting safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Setting up cleaning trolleys
• Cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms
• Cleaning communal areas
• Restocking all cleaning and hygiene supplies
• Completing cleaning records
• High Touch Point cleaning

Role Description

EXTRASTAFF is a leading national provider within the Industrial & Health Hospitality sectors. We work with iconic and respected companies throughout Australia. We are currently seeking experienced kitchen hands and cleaners for a number of casual positions in Aged Care facilities within Albury and Wodonga suburbs. If you are looking for an immediate start, flexibility in shifts and the opportunity to work across multiple sites, this role may be for you!

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Kitchen Hand your duties will be:
• Setting up food and drink trolleys
• Serving/delivering meals and drinks
• Preparing texture modified food and fluids
• Preparing sandwiches and salads
• Recording accurate temperatures of food
• Washing dishes
• Maintaining cleanliness in service areas

As a Cleaner your duties will be:
• Meeting safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Setting up cleaning trolleys
• Cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms

REQUIREMENTS FOR ROLE:
• Minimum 6 months previous experience working in Health Care environments (Aged Care, Retirement Living)
• Great communication skills to meet the needs of residents
• Current National Police Certificate for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old
• Current Working with Children's Check
• Current flu vaccination
• COVID vaccinations
• Flexible availability across a seven day roster on days, afternoons and nights
